Site of the Week - week 1

Thom Collins

Thom Collins is a sound designer out in California. I was introduced to his site by my Aaron when I was looking for music and inspiration for my senior project. The site is done in flash and has a certain elegance that is hard to find in website design. The flash effects are simple and subtle. He also substitutes an intro by incorporating it into the interface, at the bottom of the screen. The monochromatic color scheme creates drama and the ambiguity of interface invites you to explore.
