inspiration in the ring

Released a few years ago, The Ring was the american version of a japanese story called Ringu. The film is centered around a video tape that upon viewing will bring you death. A reporter tracks the down the tape and watches it repeatedly. I found the tape to be captivating and so intriguing. One actor in the film calls it something like a good art student project. I agree. It creates mystery and tells a story. The website features parts of the creepy video.

I used it as an inspiration for my projects because of the emotion that is evoked by the super-natural images on this tape.
